JACKSON, MISS. – The Mississippi Department of Corrections is searching for state inmate Kendrick T. Hosey after he did not return Monday to the Delta Correctional Facility in Leflore County.
Hosey, 38, housed at Delta’s Community Work Center, had been granted a three-day leave. He is now wanted for escape.
He has been serving 16 years for two convictions in Forrest County. He received 12 years for possession of a controlled substance with intent and four years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon when sentenced in June 2018.
Hosey, alias K T, has several tattoos, including the words "Go Getta," a five-point star with a chain, and a picture of the state.
A black male of medium build, Hosey stands 5 feet 9 inches tall at 196 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
