The community work centers include minimum security residents who are provided a gradual re-introduction into community life. The centers provide alcohol and drug counselling, GED preparation, and religious programs.  Residents perform a wide range of labor at no cost to city, county, and state government agencies and school districts. This work includes community beautification projects, bridge and road repair work, vehicle maintenance, water and sewer, and sanitation details.
