Overview
The Mississippi Department of Corrections' (MDOC) Division of Institutions is responsible for protecting public safety through the confinement of adult felony offenders who are sentenced to prison.
While incarcerated, offenders are offered treatment, education, and vocational programs that will assist them in becoming a productive member of their community once released.
