The Mississippi Department of Corrections is searching for an inmate who escaped a job site Sunday in Hattiesburg.
Ramsey Pittman, 21, is serving five years for burglary larceny of an unoccupied dwelling in Marion County. He was last seen at 4:38 p.m. Sunday at the Forrest County Multipurpose Center, where he was one of four inmates from the Forrest County Community Work Center on a work detail. He had asked to use the bathroom and failed to return.
Pittman, #190256, received a 20 year probation when he was sentenced May 2, 2016.
